One of the least known types of Massage is called Shirodhara. This is an ancient Ayurvedic (natural medicine from India) treatment that has marked results both physically and metaphysically. It was originally designed as an accompaniment to meditation, in order to assist in reaching higher levels of consciousness.
Studies have also shown this massage to increase serotonin levels resulting in relief from migraines and insomnia.
