Had a fantastic day yesterday at Compass in Barrington. The “Love your life “ event was a success, we had hands on experiences, some great food and education.

Humans don't exist separate from Nature. We are Nature, as much as the birds, flowers, clouds, trees, butterflies and rain. Our minds, bodies and civilization are deeply connected to all of Earth's systems. Knowing this is wisdom. Not knowing this is ignorance.

*THiS* could be the lesson humanity's recent experience with COVID has the potential to teach us. Within a matter of months we saw a tiny virus spread to every nation in the world, to almost every person. How was that possible? Because *all* of Earth's systems are connected.

The water we drink, the air we breathe, the carbon and nitrogen in our bodies, have been recycled by Mother Earth for millions of years. Nature is a self-regenerating system, a resource recyling system. New water and oxygen isn't made, it's purified, by Mother Earth's plants, forests and water cycles.

To becoming more conscious of our DEEP ecological unity with Nature we need to use our imaginations in new ways. Understanding that we are children of Nature's Systems & Cycles, part of one Earth family.

As Martin Luther King, Jr. put it, “All life is interrelated... Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly. We are made to live together because of the interrelated structure of reality.”

As a species, we need to understand that aligning with the regenerative and ecological laws of our home planet is far more important than our human economy, technology, politics or money.

Nature is not our enemy. But neither is she our property or slave. Nature's creative and regenerative wisdom can become our wisdom too, if we wish it to be.

A century from now, our descendents may come to see these years as a species-wide wake up call. A time when the human family came to better understand the interrelated structure of reality, aligning with Nature's Intelligence and evolving our consciousness.

A time when we came to understand how even small changes in Nature have the power to affect us. Hopefully learning how everything (and everyone) on our beautiful blue planet is part of an everpresent UNITY, all of us deeply connected...

Today I received cupping therapy.

YOU’RE NOT FOR EVERYONE

You’re not for everyone
but you are most definitely
for someone

and when you find yourself caught
in the trap of ‘people-pleasing’
remind yourself quickly
that you are ‘people’ too

and further refresh your memory
by recalling
that pleasing everyone
is not possible

it cannot be done
just like the sun cannot shine
on all faces at once

but when it does
when you are for someone
it is more than enough

you’re not for everyone
but it’s the ‘someones’
who matter most
the ‘someones’
who will breathe you new life
when your lungs forget how

love your ‘someones’
they’re the only ones
you need
