🦃✨ Turkey Shoot Fun at Our Community! ✨🦃

Our residents got into the Thanksgiving spirit with a festive Turkey Shoot game, and it was an absolute blast! Laughter filled the room as everyone took their best shot and cheered each other on. Moments like these remind us how special it is to come together, have fun, and celebrate the season.

We’re so grateful for the joy, connection, and creativity our residents bring to every activity. ❤️

My sister has been through so much recently and moving in here a month ago has not gone as expected. I expected bad food, TV watching and a groaning upset sister. I have not heard a peep except for her reactions when she is laughing, which I am told she does all day. I am so happy with the staff and activities they do with her. They bring her everywhere, to all the houses to meet new people, she seems to be having more fun now than in the past 10 years, maybe longer. I want to thank the staff for being so kind to her and friendly to all of us.

We're pleased to announce November's Employee of the Month is.......Claribel H! Claribel's love and passion for caring for others shines through in all that she does.

Claribel's hard work, dedication, innovation and attention to detail have made a tremendous impact, not only on the team, but also in the lives of our residents and their families. Claribel is a great advocate for the residents and for the community. Claribel is quick to pick up shifts, stay late, come in early, and switch days to help meet the needs of the community.

Claribel shares her own personal love for the arts with the residents by coming up with fun crafting projects just by going through the activity closets and seeing what's available to work with. Claribel's excitement and energy through scheduled programs is contagious and the residents enjoy her company. Her creativity and focus on engaging residents in programs is truly impressive. She is not afraid to think outside the box and she does not shy away from trying new things, even when she's a little hesitant!

Claribel's positive attitude is contagious and makes our workplace a better place!!! CONGRATULATIONS, CLARIBEL!

This season of gratitude, our community is coming together to help local families in need. We’re hosting a Thanksgiving Food Drive to support our community and spread kindness. 💛

📅 Now through November 24th
📍 Drop-off Location: The Gold Coast Cottage
🕒 Hours: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

We’re collecting non-perishable items such as canned vegetables, stuffing mix, cranberry sauce, canned gravy, boxed desserts and other non-perishables as well. Every donation—big or small—helps make someone’s Thanksgiving a little brighter.

Let’s make this Thanksgiving season one to remember.
