Valley View Assisted Living of Lakefield is currently accepting applications for part-time day, part time evening Home Health Aid as well as part time over night and casual Home Health Aide. Also, there is opportunity to make a full-time position, if flexible. We do provide on the job training to the right person. We are looking for friendly energetic team members and very self-motivated!!
The perfect candidates will be able to fulfill the core values of Dignity, Integrity, Professionalism, Humor, and Passion. This position is responsible for performing services to the facility and residents as necessary to maintain the comfort and cleanliness of our residents. Duties include a combination of, but are not limited to:
*Making beds, replenishing linens, laundry, cleaning rooms and halls, vacuuming, garbage removal,
*Assisting with bathing, hair and skin care, oral hygiene/denture care, dressing.
*Assisting with Ambulation, transfers, and exercises
*Administers medications and treatments under the direction of the RN.
*Respond and attend to the requests of the residents in a timely and friendly manner.
*Maintains and protects confidentiality.
*Able to lift, push and pull required load (usually about 50 lbs.)

Applicants are required to work every other weekend and holiday unless casual.
