**Caturday's Card: 14 - The Underworld (Sacred Circle)**

The Underworld represents the hidden realm within ourselves, where our self-created demons reside—our deepest fears, hatreds, prejudices, and feelings of self-disgust. This is the secret, darker side of ourselves, often referred to as the shadow side, which we keep buried in our subconscious mind. Yet, it still holds us captive, affecting all our thoughts and actions, and preventing us from moving forward.

Deep down, we all share the same fears; it’s a part of being human. However, our life experiences and external influences can twist these fears, turning them into prisons. An unresolved fear or painful experience can keep us tethered, and until we confront and deal with it, we will remain stuck.

We may also be harboring anger that we don’t express healthily, or we may be punishing ourselves for something that isn’t even our fault. It’s time to confront, fight against, and conquer our deeply buried fears—our inner monsters. This is often something we’d rather avoid or may not want to acknowledge.

Love is a crucial element of intuitive knowledge. We must overcome thoughts of misery or depression, as well as any feelings of being chained or imprisoned by the illusion that there are no alternatives. No matter our circumstances, we always have choices. When we feel constrained, we usually hold the keys to our own freedom.

Take action, regain control, and make your own choices! Don’t give up hope!

It often feels as if we resolve one issue only for another to surface immediately. We might feel as though assistance is nowhere to be found!

Despite the difficulties we are currently facing, change is on the horizon. We need to develop positive coping strategies. We must also reflect on why we might sabotage our own happiness, especially when things seem to be going well. Learning to appreciate and love ourselves more is essential.

The King of Swords, reversed, represents forceful energy. We must accept that we cannot always change people's minds. Sometimes, the best we can hope for is a compromise. Being overly forceful can lead to resistance or have the opposite effect. Just mention topics like politics or religion, and you’ll see what I mean!

Furthermore, it’s essential to think critically and logically about any spiritual information that comes our way right now. If something doesn’t resonate with us, it simply doesn’t matter who conveys it. We don’t have to accept everything, even from trusted friends. Trusting our instincts and intuition is crucial.
