Some quick ways to prevent falls at home:

Remove tripping hazards like loose rugs, clutter, or cords on the floor.
Install grab bars in bathrooms near the toilet and in the shower.
Use non-slip mats in the bathtub and shower.
Ensure good lighting in hallways, bedrooms, and stairways.
Use handrails on both sides of staircases if possible.
