Dogs make the worst pets!
Meet Tigress the official emotional support animal at Piece of Zen. She’s been in the majority of my therapy sessions and on the yoga mat during my stretch breaks with a calming presence.
But what many don’t know is Tigress was in an arranged relationship with Zeus. They hit it off and Tigress became pregnant in 2023 with 1 puppy and had a stillborn. Tigress and Zeus were devastated. Zeus was a great support but Tigress decided to end the relationship to focus on herself.
When life got tough, Tigress didn’t retreat. Although she was grieving she found her purpose in comforting others, showing us all that healing is possible, even when the journey feels overwhelming. She was a great example of how to cope with grief.
Fast forward to Feb 2025 Tigress and Zeus decided to try again with their relationship. And now, their legacy continues…
Tigress & Zeus are the proud parents of a litter of 5 strong, sweet, and spunky 5 week old Frenchie pups—each one already showing signs of being just like Tigress and Zeus. 🐶💕
