Lake Gibson Village was proud to sponsor this year’s Alzheimer’s Celebration Party, and what an unforgettable evening it was! ✨
Our Great Gatsby theme came to life beautifully with a stunning poolside setting, incredible décor, and the perfect Roaring 20s atmosphere. The event felt especially fitting as we celebrated in our gorgeous 1929 building — truly the perfect backdrop for a Gatsby-inspired night.
Our new chef, Kimone and her amazing crew prepared fabulous food that wowed everyone in attendance. Guests, residents, and staff embraced the spirit of the 20s in their stylish attire, the 360 photo booth added a fun touch to the evening, and the music by Brown Sounds set the tone perfectly and kept the celebration lively all night long. Bud & Betty arrived in their 1929 Model A to complete the authentic Gatsby experience!
A very special shout out to Tari Welter Kezele and Gail Kalch who worked tirelessly planning and executing this beautiful event — every detail was thoughtfully done, and it showed.
Most importantly, we gathered together with hope in our hearts — hope that one day we will find a cure for Alzheimer’s. Thank you to all of our incredible sponsors and everyone who came out to support such a meaningful cause. Together, we truly can make a difference. 💜💜💜

We had the sweetest time kicking off the 🍓 Strawberry Festival with a Berry Sweet networking event at Lake Gibson Village!
Our talented new chef, Kimone, truly outdid herself with a delicious spread of strawberry-inspired treats — and of course, the strawberry shortcake was the star of the show! It was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely the best way to celebrate the season.
It was such a pleasure seeing so many friends and community partners relaxing, sharing, and connecting.

We hosted a fully loaded nacho bar fundraiser and had such a great time coming together for a cause that touches so many hearts. Thanks to the generosity of our residents and staff, we raised almost $200 for the Alzheimer’s Association!
Plenty of toppings & lots of laughter and community spirit, it was truly a special day. We are so grateful for everyone who participated, donated, and helped make this fundraiser a success. Every dollar raised helps support research, advocacy, and families affected by Alzheimer’s.

The Mardi Gras fun continues at Lake Gibson Village! 💜💚💛

We’re keeping the celebration going with festive Mardi Gras–themed events filled with great music, delicious king cakes, and lots of laughter. The community spirit has been incredible, and it’s been so much fun seeing everyone enjoy the decorations, treats, and time together.

We kicked off Mardi Gras in the best way possible — with Family Night at Lake Gibson Village! 💜💚💛
The evening shift was full of energy, laughter, and great company. Kimone & her culinary team put together a fantastic Mardi Gras-inspired menu that truly hit the spot. From the flavors to the festive spirit, everything was on point!
And a huge shoutout to Jennifer Royce foe bringing the perfect music to our celebration and had everyone smiling and tapping their feet.
There’s nothing better than bringing residents, families, and team members together to celebrate community and create special memories. What a fun way to start the Mardi Gras season! 🎭✨

February’s Better Living for Seniors meeting was truly one to remember! ❤️🩵❤️
We had the pleasure of gathering at the beautiful Winter Haven Senior Center, and we are so grateful to Jackie and her amazing team for graciously allowing us to “invade” their space. They welcomed us with open arms and made everyone feel right at home.
The morning was made even sweeter with delicious strawberry shortcake, tasty breakfast sandwiches, and of course — plenty of coffee to keep the conversations flowing! ☕🍓Thank you to Comfort Keepers of Polk County and Aging Care Experts!
And we truly appreciate Suzy Soliday for her heartfelt and impactful presentation on navigating grief. Her insights provided comfort, understanding, and practical tools that so many can carry forward.
It’s always inspiring to see community partners come together to educate, uplift, and support our seniors. We’re already looking forward to next month! 💙
