HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO AN AMERICAN HERO 🇺🇸 97-year-old Steward Conover was a corporal in the U.S. Army's 83rd Infantry Division during World War II and fought on the beaches of Normandy on D-Day and during the Battle of the Bulge.

After the war, he designed a timing device that was used in the Gemini space program. Plus, his invention is now in the Smithsonian in Washington, D.C.!
