For extra precaution and safety for all client horses with the recent EHV outbreak there will be NO bodywork or PEMF sessions advertised.

Keeping horses safe from any risk of transmitting something from the PEMF machine or myself is my number 1 concern.

I will plan to pick back up with clients after the weekend of December 13th. Sorry for any inconvenience.

What is the purpose of bodywork & PEMF therapy? How are they alike & different?

Bodywork has been around a long time. It is a much bigger therapy to help a horse’s muscular system stay loose and limber. Have you ever had a pulled muscle on one part of your body and 2-3 days later the other side is sore? That is because your body compensates for the pain & will pull your body out of wack & it will do the same exact thing to a horse. My specific method focuses on 52 stress points ( 25 on each side ) These points are held down and once that muscle feels a relief a horse will lick & chew, yawn, stretch, & their eyes soften. Once it releases then I rub it out with my hand to get the rest of the tightness out.

So where does PEMF come in you may ask?

PEMF comes into play after a massage session once all the muscles are manually fixed. PEMF is not a bodyworker & can’t do its job alone. The electromagnetic pulse the PEMF does is to further relax and soften those muscles.
Some horses can benefit from PEMF more than bodywork because some horses don’t sore up like other horses do, just like people, but neither outdoes the other! They are both important, but you just have to find what works the best! PEMF is also beneficial for expediting injury recovery, arthritis, & joint pain that massages doesn’t quite help. I can only do bodywork on horses, but PEMF? I can help joint pains, stiffness, & arthritic pain in anybody. Dogs, sheep, cows, horses, ponies, & humans.

To keep your horse feeling good, the rider has to too! If you are tight and sore it can cause your horse to sore up too. Get a PEMF session along with your horse’s services, so you can feel good too.

For all new PEMF / Bodywork clients you will receive $10 off either or both services!

Give me a call today for pricing and let’s get you and your horse or other animals feeling good!

We love a good PEMF session yawn🥱

This horse absolutely loves and enjoys his routine maintenance sessions 🫶🏻

A regular shown barrel horse requires a little extra TLC to keep them feeling good & this big guy sure loves both his PEMF & bodywork sessions!

Have a horse that needs more than just a good yawn ? Contact me today and let’s set up a routine bodywork schedule to get them to where PEMF can keep those muscles loose!

If you don’t know which would be beneficial for your horse give me a shout! I would love to help your equine feel their best & which service works the best! Some horses do better with one or the other & not both! They are all unique & different.

PEMF a new client this past weekend!

Ozzi presented with tightness through her back & shoulders. She typically warms up a little higher strung & ready to go. After a 30 min session her owners were very happy with her warmup where she was calm & collected & even shaved off over a second off her poles!

PEMF is a great tool in aiding in tight areas on their body they exert. Barrel horses use their shoulders and hind end the most which causes inflammation and pain over time. It is proven to work immediately & make your horse a more competitive athlete!

Ozzi was almost asleep and so relaxed after her session! Owner looks forward to another round of sessions this weekend before she runs!

Another success story with PEMF and Bodywork!!

This horse started out on the top left very body sore which resulted in unwillingness to perform when he got to a show, and his bodywork would not hold due to how tight his muscles were.
He would duck barrels & be reluctant to turn. Top right was after the first 30 min PEMF and bodywork session.
Bottom left was after the third session & bottom right was after the 4th 30 min session. He ran his two best times this past weekend and is willing to work and do his job correctly.

Now this horse is receiving 1x a week PEMF session to ensure everything continues to stay loose and does not present soreness. After that he will be able to go down to the maintenance stage of 2x a month!

It’s happy clients & owners that makes what I do so fun and enjoyable!
