Ever wondered what PEMF is doing from the inside? This case is of my current rehab client that is receiving two 1 hour sessions a week. Started with 4 30 min sessions, but now he enjoys it & I could bump up to an hour.
He had tears in his right front tendon.
The left side is the first initial ultrasound of the injury. The black spots you see are tears. After 4 hours of PEMF therapy along with receiving bowen therapy, red light therapy, special shoeing, & cold hosing you get the current result on the right. He is still not 100% & has some small scar tissue damage, but is healing 6-8 months ahead of schedule, which is amazing!!!
He is also recieving bodywork to help with any stiffness he gets from being on stall rest.
The PEMF is much stronger than what red lights and cold hosing give, but everything still has been working hard together to get this horse back riding sound. He has a ways to go & still receiving all therapies stated.
Adding the PEMF to this horses routine has majorly helped bring his tendon back together and repair the internal damage he has sustained.
