There’s nothing quite like a day filled with good food, great company, and a bit of adventure! 🧺

Who can resist a delightful picnic lunch? We enjoyed a lovely picnic-style meal at The Back Porch in Lake Alfred, featuring fresh croissant sandwiches, homemade salads, and tasty desserts. Afterward, we checked out the charming gift shops—each packed with treasures and laughter.

We’re already planning our return—because living well means making time for the things and people we love! 💙

What an unforgettable day at the Veterans’ Day Parade in Lakeland. 🇺🇸

This past weekend, we joined our greater community to honor the heroes who have sacrificed so much for our nation. Our Westminster Lakeland bus rolled proudly down the route, while many of us joined on scooters and golf carts.

We spent the afternoon embracing the island's vibrant flavors, enjoying everything from savory Cuban sandwiches to comforting soups and rice. One of our neighbors even celebrated a birthday, complete with cheers and song!

Giving back is one of the most fulfilling ways to live well and stay active! 💙

Our community joined hands to support kidsPACK, a non-profit that serves disadvantaged children, preparing more than 200 meals packed into 26 boxes for local schools. Knowing that our efforts will brighten a child’s weekend fills our hearts with purpose and joy.

Our Executive Director Doug shared a heartfelt message recognizing veterans from every branch of service. Over a comforting meal of open-faced beef sandwiches, mashed potatoes, and cherry pie, we shared stories, memories, and gratitude.
