We’re sailin’ smart due to weather, and that means a slight change of course for the Gasparilla Invasion. The Jose Gasparilla II will now sail direct from Port Tampa Bay to the Tampa Convention Center—but make no mistake, the Invasion is still ON.

🎙 BREAKING NEWS: MISSION 11 application forms for veterans and guardians are active on the website! 🎙

Mission #11 is scheduled for MAY 5, 2026, departing from & returning to Sun 'n Fun at Lakeland Linder International Airport.

Any eligible veteran is welcome to apply for Flight to Honor flight. Priority is given to those with severe medical conditions followed by World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam War veterans.

All Veterans who have not participated in a previous Honor Flight or Flight to Honor are eligible for the mission. Veterans participating in the mission fly for free and are accompanied by a Guardian for the day.

GUARDIANS are urged to apply for this mission. When selected to accompany a veteran, Guardians are asked to donate $500 to help fund the mission.

Applications for both Veterans and Guardians can be accessed from the Polk County Veterans Council website (see link above). Completed applications should be printed & mailed to F2H; P.O Box 3911; Lakeland, FL, 33802.
