The DPT program at Florida Southern
Founded in 1883, Florida Southern has a superb liberal arts and sciences core, as well as outstanding professional programs. The FSC DPT program was started in 2018 and received Candidacy status in May 2019. We currently have our inaugural cohort of 24 students with a planned graduation date of December 2021. We are in a new state-of-the-art facility and we welcome you to visit us at one of our monthly Information Sessions!
Effective 5/15/19, Florida Southern College School of Physical Therapy has been granted Candidate for Accreditation status by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (1111 North Fairfax Street, Alexandria, VA, 22314; phone: 703-706-3245; email: accreditation@apta.org). Candidate for Accreditation is a pre-accreditation status of affiliation with the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education that indicates the program is progressing toward accreditation and may matriculate students in technical/professional courses.
