"Together We Shine Brighter." Sunshine Ranch provides therapeutic horseback riding & horsemanship services to children and adults with special needs.

With our staff of professional instructors, kind volunteers, and well-trained horses, we offer life-enriching instruction and experiences that provide an opportunity for the cross-over of skills that are beneficial in daily life. Our programs and services, coupled with the amazing therapeutic effects that only horses can provide, build confidence, trust, regulation, social skills, strength, balance, flexibility, coordination, independence , and so much more in our students.

We have taken the past 2 months off from lessons to stay safe in the summer heat, but the daily work continues for the horses & volunteers! Thank you to Volunteer Emily for helping introduce Rosie to some English riding so that she can serve some of our students in this way. We are SO grateful to all of our volunteers for making sure our horses still get excellent care, exercise, & the individualized attention they need year-round, regardless of the weather.❤️☀️❤️☀️❤️

I don’t know how it works, but this is so true.♥️🐴♥️🐴♥️

Some people don’t choose to love horses —
it’s already within them, even before the first touch, before their first step into a stable.
It’s not a hobby. Not a passion. It’s a part of their soul.

They are born with horses in their heart.
With eyes that light up at the sight of a mane in the wind.
With hands that seek the warmth of a coat.
With a heartbeat that echoes the rhythm of hooves.

These are the ones who find comfort in a silent gaze,
