PROSTATE GLAND, URINARY ISSUES

The L4 vertebra responsibilities include supporting significant body weight, enabling trunk movement like bending and twisting, and protecting the nerve roots of the cauda equina that control the legs and feet.

INNERVATION
The (L4) nerve roots that exit at this level control the following areas/systems (but not limited to); prostate gland, muscles of the lower back, sciatica nerve.

EFFECTS
When the L4 vertebra is out of alignment, it can have negative effects on the body including (but not limited to); urinary disorders, lower back pain and numbness, weakness in lower extremities.
