When people refer to techniques like the Webster approach, the goal is not to “turn” the baby. 🙅♀️👶 The focus is on improving how the pelvis and surrounding tissues are functioning. 🦴✨
The idea: 💡 If there is asymmetry or restriction in the parent’s body, addressing that may:
Improve comfort 😌
Optimize space for the baby 🤰
But:
This does not guarantee a position change ⚠️
The evidence is still limited 🔬
Positioning is influenced by many factors (not just biomechanics) 🧩
This is why collaboration matters—OBs, midwives, pelvic PTs, acupuncturists and others all play a role. 🤝👩⚕️
Clear communication > exaggerated claims. 💬✅
