Day 24 of our Team gratitude from Jamie on keepsakes!

“It's the little things that bring the biggest joy! ✨ I wanted to share two of my favorite keepsakes that remind me daily of my incredible grandmothers. It's heart-warming to know that simple, everyday objects can hold so much love and history.
First up, this little frog. 🐸 It used to sit by my granny's kitchen sink, diligently holding her sponge for dishwashing. Now, it holds my sponge, and every time I see it, I'm reminded of her warmth and the simple, everyday moments we shared. It always makes me smile!
I also cherish this napkin holder from my other grandma. 🌾 As a child, I was absolutely fascinated by all the tiny items epoxied into it. She was a dedicated farmer's wife, and this piece, full of little farm life details, is a perfect, unique reminder of who she was and how valued she was on the family farm.

Grateful for these tangible items that bridge generations and fill my home and heart with cherished memories.”❤️

Day 23 of our Team Gratitude from Dr Jake on Traditions! 🦌 🪾🐿️🌰

There is a common saying usually used in lamentation: I take two steps forward and one step back.
I really like thinking about that the other way: I take one step back so I can take two steps forward.

Traditions, the way that I celebrate them, are often used to calm my mind as I retreat into some form of solidarity.
My favorite tradition in that capacity is the 9 day 🦌 season in Wisconsin.
Myself and my thoughts on a tree for 11 hours a day for usually 5 out of the 9 days.
This year for the first time I’ve had the thoughts of when do I integrate my children into this tradition. I look forward to passing all of the knowledge that my father instilled in me.

Another common saying, the more things change the more they stay the same.
That’s this year for me.
I have the privilege of having access to thousands of acres of county land. This past year the majority of it was logged off. This to help the woods regenerate and stay healthy; although it takes 75 years or so to do that.

For almost a decade I hunted the same tree. Some years seeing lots of 🦌some years seeing ❌ Some years (like this year) sweating because it’s 50 degrees some years hoping to make it 2 hours before 🥶.
The tree remained.

Last year my buddy Zach and I took three stands out of the woods with the gossip that the woods might never be the same. Turns out this was the year.
We also took out a stand my father spent many years hunting out of, only to forget a tree hook that will live there forever (picture 2)

I could walk to my 🌳 in the pitch black at 5am knowing exactly where to go.
Now as you can see in the first picture it’s a wide open prairie.
That’s ok. Same tradition, just a different tree.

Sometimes traditions bring some downsides.
My wife hates my beard.
My beard has more grays every year.
My 7 year old told me before waking in that maybe I should do a better job of picking trees. He told me that last year too 🙄

I’m going to blink and it’ll be December 1st, the woods will move along and it’ll be 355 days till the next chapter of the tradition.
Only my God knows how many chapters I get to write.

Day 21 of our Team Gratitude from Brie on FAVORITE THINGS: “My favorite thing is more of a who instead of a what… anyone that has met me knows that I will take ANY opportunity to talk about my dog, my fur child if you will, Howie. I mean that face is undeniable! He’s the quirkiest Golden I’ve ever known but that’s what keeps it interesting and fun! We just love him!”

Don’t have a favorite animal or thing that brings you so much gratitude?

“Give us 8 weeks, and we’ll change the rest of your life.”
-Dr. Jake, Dr. Hannah and team
••••••••••••••

Let’s start with something real:
What percentage of people in your community are sick, stressed, overwhelmed, inflamed, exhausted, and living every day with no roadmap to health?

Now let me ask you something even harder:

How many of you have lost someone — way too young —
not because of bad luck…
not because of genetics…
But because nobody gave them structure, nobody gave them a path, and nobody held their hand long enough for them to truly change?

Maybe you tried.
Maybe you begged them to take the journey.
Maybe you were the only one who believed they could do it.
But they couldn’t — or wouldn’t — take that next step.

That’s not their fault.
They were drowning.
Drowning in stress…
Drowning in bad decisions...
Drowning in confusion…
Drowning in a healthcare system that diagnoses, medicates, and manages —
but does NOT heal, does NOT restore, and does NOT teach people how to reclaim their lives.

You know the person I’m talking about.
We ALL know that person.
And here’s the hardest truth in this room:
Sometimes that person… is us.
Someone once said, “I have met the enemy, and it is us.”
Our own stress.
Our own habits.
Our own lack of structure.
We’re human too.
We fall short, too.

And THAT is precisely why 8 Weeks to Wellness exists.

Because when you give someone structure…
when you reconnect their nervous system through chiropractic…
when you teach them how to fuel their bodies with good food…
how to move with purpose…
how to breathe…
how to sleep…
how to heal…
And when you surround them with love, accountability, and a team that refuses to give up on them…

You don’t just improve their health —
You alter the entire direction of their life.

So let’s put this in perspective:
Eight weeks.

Eight weeks —8 FREAKING WEEKS, that's nothing.
It’s a blink.
It’s ONE quarter of ONE percent of the average person’s life.

But in that tiny moment in time, you can:
– Rebuild their confidence
– Reset their mind
– Repair their physiology
– Transform their habits
– Change their identity
– And give them back the future they thought they had lost

Most doctors can only talk about lifestyle change.
You have a program that actually delivers it.
You have a system that changes marriages, changes families, changes legacies.

So get ready.
Get fired up.
Cue the Rocky music.
Because this weekend is NOT about information —
it’s about transformation.

The skills you’re about to learn…
The conversations you’re about to master…
The systems you’re about to implement…

They don’t just build bigger practices.

They prevent heart attacks.
They stop diabetes before it starts.
They allow children to meet grandparents who would’ve otherwise died too soon.
They create stronger families.
They save lives that the medical system has already written off.
They give people HOPE —
the kind of hope that makes them cry in your office because for the first time someone believes in them more than they believe in themselves.

THAT is what you do.
THAT is why you’re here.
And THAT is why this weekend matters so damn much.

Thank you for being here.
Let’s change lives — starting right now.
