Hope you enjoyed your annual winter vacation in Austin! Maybe you had a day or two off work, hunkered down at home with a book and some relaxation, or bundled up the kids and played in the snow. Hopefully, you relaxed a bit and enjoyed some unexpected downtime. Which is exactly what you should do when these occasions arise…

Chronic stress keeps cortisol high, and cortisol puts the body in survival mode. When we’re in survival mode, lymphatic flow slows—because drainage, detox, and repair are not the priority.
