A Heartbreaking Loss for our Industry

Dr “Bob” James didn’t just do his job – he inspired excellence. His work ethic wasn’t about recognition; it was about always giving his best, and in doing so, he set the standard for the rest of us.

He led by example, with patience and kindness. Many of us carry lessons he gave freely — not through words, but through how he lived.

His dedication to the Calf Industry changed us. He turned ordinary moments into something meaningful, showing us, that excellence isn’t a goal to chase — it’s a habit, a way of life.

Today, we remember not only what he did for the Calf Industry, but who he was: someone who lifted others, who made us better, and who left a mark that will never fade.
