My name is Danielle Kristen Gould, I have level one autism which used to be known as asperger’s syndrome,post traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, depression, and a math impairment disorder. I am loving, empathetic, compassionate, blunt, and many other things. I am a performer, an aunt, a cousin, a friend, a beau , a daughter, a sister, and a niece. I am not afraid to advocate. People can ask me anything about my conditions. Life is a roller coaster, but it is worth living. Life is complex, but problems can be solved in some shape or form. Autistic people are not broken, we don’t need fixed or cured, we are people, we feel things deeply, we deserve love, security, respect, and we deserve to achieve our dreams. Autistic people are not evil, possessed, or monsters. When you meet one autistic person, you have met one autistic person. No two autistic people are the same we are like butterflies, we spread our wings and fly on our time. Autistic people want to soar just like everyone. We are not afraid to stand up for ourselves or other people. We can be some of your best friends. My advice to you is get to know some autistic individuals, we are a gift!, we don’t mean harm!
