Advanced Health Care of Lakewood is a brand new, 36-bed, short term Skilled Nursing Facility looking for some phenomenal RN's and LPN's. We are looking for a few friendly and organized nurses to help create a culture of excellence as we provide the best care for our patients. We hope these nurses can contribute to building upon our foundation with an emphasis on being friendly, positive, and focused on excellence

We are currently hiring for both FT day shift and FT night shift.
Shifts are: 6a-6p, 6p-6a.

With an awesome support system, our floor nurses receive guidance from the Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, Admission Nurses, Discharge Nurse, and MDS nurse!

(That's right, floor nurses do not have to do admissions)

‼️ GOAL ACCOMPLISHED ‼️

Advanced Health Care of Lakewood is officially a FULL HOUSE. 🎉

Today, as we admitted our 36th patient, we celebrated all the hard work and dedication each one of our team members has put in to help build our new facility!

For many of our team members, this is the first time they have ever worked at a brand new facility, and they have done an amazing job at stepping up to the challenge and being part of the success!

We are grateful for all our patients who have trusted us with their care. It has been a privilege to take care of each and every patient who has admitted to our facility. We are exciting to continue providing excellent care, a supportive work environment and raising the standard of care!

Throwback Thursday!!! 👻

Here is a little throwback to our very FIRST Staff Halloween Party we hosted this year! 💀🎃

We set up a delicious Olive Garden buffet, sweetened up staff with chocolate & candy and had a Halloween Costume Contest with prizes!!!

From left to right, here are the following costumes:
Heidi (Clinical Nurse Manager) was a Red Brick House - which she was hand made herself!
Mia (Medical Records) was a cute giraffe!
Caroline (MDS) was our insurance agent FLO
Lawson (Administrator) was a BLOW POP - which his awesome/creative wife hand made herself!!
Amanda (Director of Nursing) was a pretty pirate!
Mindy (Admissions/Discharge Nurse) was a wicked witch!

🦃🦃🦃??Turkey bowling?? 🦃🦃🦃

Yes that’s right!! Instead of your regular bowling balls - we bowled with mini turkeys!

In light of the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, our awesome Administrator built bowling lanes and hosted a Turkey Bowling Competition!!! 🎳🦃

This was a great and fun way for staff to take a break from the hard work and bond with our new employees after a successful Orientation Day!

Today, we had a nice visit from FLO the Progressive Insurance Agent AKA our sweet MDS nurse Caroline! She is truly a Jack of all trades!

FLO was accompanied by a Warrior dressed in an awesome armored suit ready for battle AKA our Administrator Lawson Essig!!

Advanced Health Care of Lakewood is full of talented and creative individuals who love making work a fun and enjoyable environment!

SPECIAL SHOUT OUT:
Big shout out to our lovely CNA, Shaely Folger!!!

Shaely received the AMAZING news of being accepted into the Physician Assistant Program at Oklahoma City University! 👏🏼 Woo hoo!!! 🎉

Shaely was inspired by an encounter she had in college with a PA who gave great care and attention to her own patients. This is when Shaely knew she wanted to be a PA too! As she did her research, she found that the PA description matched her to a T!! 😉

Shaely says “I want to be the person patients trust to better their health, both mentally and physically. My experience in the healthcare field has taught me that I thrive off knowing that my patients are happier and healthier after I have provided my care. It is truly so rewarding.”

“As a PA, I want be able to work as a team with my patients, providing them with medical knowledge and unprejudiced empathy to help them become the healthiest and happiest version of themselves.”

We know Shaely will be an amazing PA, and will provide so much love and excellent care to all of her patients! (Those will be some very lucky patients)

We got a huge delivery of nursing supplies and he volunteered to put them all away.

This is what we love about working at AHC of Lakewood. We are staffed with individuals that take initiative to get the tasks done and they do it with a smile on their face.

We are proud of our CNA’s, they have truly created a healthy and positive work culture at AHC of Lakewood.

We are looking for some experienced Physical Therapists that can help to establish the amazing standard of therapy provided here. We are a short-term, skilled nursing facility that just started taking patients 3 weeks ago. Come join our team and help to build our culture.

Our Physical therapists help to perform intake evals along with getting the opportunity to treat. With most of our patient's being here specifically for therapy it provides a positive and encouraging environment to help these patients get back to where they want to be after surgery and other life events. Our therapists make their successful stories possible.
