BlueRaven with Bryn Murphy provides therapy to ages 2+ in Lakewood (CO)/Virtual. Bryn specializes in grief, anxiety, trauma, and OCD.

She provides play therapy, EMDR, ERP, and KAP. She also offers clinical consultation. Bryn Murphy, MA, LMFT specializes as a Certified Synergetic Play Therapist and works with children, adolescents, families, and adults. Sometimes in therapy, we recognize that someone is catastrophizing and living in their worst case scenarios. Other times, people need to hear that their responses are regular and a reaction to a catastrophe. Both are valid. Both are normal responses to difficult experiences or sensations. Bryn at BlueRaven is a huge interpersonal neurobiology nerd. She loves learning about the brain and body, and recognizes the importance of creating pathways for the brain and heart to connect. One of the things she’ll frequently share with clients is about the vagus nerve, so that clients gain more of an understanding of biology, psychology, and the power of simple tools to help get connected. At BlueRaven, Bryn focuses on offering somatic practices that allow the head and the heart to talk to each other, connect, and heal. The body NEVER lies. The mind is what tricks us and sometimes makes us have faulty and damaging narratives about ourselves and others. Somatic work can feel strange, uncomfortable and silly, because the mind has been in control and avoids connecting to the body. At BlueRaven, Bryn loves to offer both hands on skills and education to give yourself a chance to somatically connect.
