The world sometimes feels heavy. This is when it’s hard to know where the good is or what we can actually do to help. Our team talked about that feeling- Wanting to do more, but not always knowing where to start.

That’s when Rachel suggested volunteering with We Don’t Waste, an organziation that recovers quality, unused food from the food industry and delivers it to the community.

Today we had our very first volunteer day. It was such a meaningful experience.

We helped distribute fresh food to the community, but what impacted us most were the human moments: smiles, laughter, conversations, and connection.

Doing good matters. Community matters. Humanity matters.

The younger parts of you carry the stories, fears, and survival patterns that once kept you safe. But sometimes those same patterns show up later as anxiety, people-pleasing, perfectionism, or feeling like you’re never enough.

When you begin to heal those early wounds, something shifts.
You respond instead of react.
You set boundaries with more confidence.
You trust yourself in ways you couldn’t before.

Healing your inner child isn’t about blame—it’s about understanding.
And when those younger parts feel seen and supported, the future version of you gets to live with more clarity, choice, and peace.

If you’ve ever felt stuck in patterns you don’t fully understand, therapy can help you make sense of them—and move forward differently. 💛

Healing isn’t linear—and it was never meant to be.

Some days you feel strong and clear.
Other days old feelings resurface and it feels like you’re back at the beginning.

You’re not failing.
You’re not moving backward.
You’re doing the work.

Healing looks like progress, setbacks, growth, reflection, and trying again—sometimes all in the same week.

Give yourself permission to move at your own pace.
Every step, even the hard ones, still counts!

You keep showing up.
Meeting deadlines.
Holding responsibility for everyone else.
From the outside, it looks like success.
On the inside, it can feel like exhaustion you can’t turn off.

Burnout doesn’t always look like falling apart.
Sometimes it looks like functioning at a high level while feeling completely drained.

Therapy gives high achievers something many don’t allow themselves—
space to slow down, process the pressure, and rebuild sustainable ways of showing up without sacrificing your well-being.

You don’t have to wait until everything crashes to get support.
Sometimes the strongest move is recognizing the cost of carrying it all alone.

If success has started to feel heavier than it used to, it might be time to have someone walk alongside you.

Sometimes support doesn’t say a word. 🐾

Maverick has a way of quietly sitting at your feet, offering comfort just by being there. No pressure. No expectations. Just steady, calming support when it’s needed most.

It’s amazing how much healing can happen when you feel safe, even in the smallest moments.

04/17/2026

Life doesn’t suddenly become easy—but it does feel more manageable when you don’t have to carry it alone.

When you have someone walking alongside you, the hard moments feel less overwhelming. The heavy things feel lighter. The path feels clearer.

That’s the power of support.
Of being heard.
Of knowing someone is there to help you make sense of what feels messy or uncertain.

You don’t have to figure everything out on your own.
Sometimes healing begins simply by letting someone walk with you. 💛

If you’re facing a hard season, support is here when you’re ready.

Most people think therapy has to look a certain way—perfect words, big breakthroughs, knowing exactly what to say.

But often, it looks like this.

A conversation.
A pause.
A moment of being heard in a way you may not have experienced before.

You don’t have to walk in with everything figured out.
You just have to be willing to show up.

If you’ve been thinking about starting therapy, this might be your sign to take the first step. 💛

Schedule a consultation when you’re ready—we’re here to meet you where you are.

There are moments when someone takes a deep breath and shares something incredibly hard.

What happens next matters more than we realize.

At Tribe, our team has made a pledge to Start by Believing.

This campaign, created by End Violence Against Women International, is about transforming the way we respond to disclosures of sexual assault, domestic violence, stalking, and child sexual abuse.

Many survivors never report what happened to them, because they are afraid of how people would respond.

A dismissive comment. A question that feels like blame. A look of doubt.

Those moments can deepen the trauma and keep people silent.

But one response rooted in belief, compassion, and care can begin something different.

It can open the door to healing.
It can restore a sense of safety.
It can help break the cycle.

When we start by believing, we are saying:

“I hear you.”
“I’m so sorry this happened.”
“You didn’t deserve this.”
“I’m here with you.”

If this message resonates with you, we invite you to take the pledge at startbybelieving.org

Be someone who creates safety.
Be someone who listens first.
Be someone who believes.

Because change doesn’t start somewhere else. It starts with us.

When your nervous system feels overwhelmed, it can feel like everything is happening at once—thoughts racing, body tense, emotions rising.

That’s where simple tools can make a real difference.

Sydney’s tip is a reminder that regulation doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes it’s about pausing long enough to let your body catch up with your mind.

Trauma isn’t defined by how “big” it looks to others.

What feels small to one person can feel overwhelming to another. A harsh word, a loss, ongoing stress, or a single moment that changed how safe you felt—it all matters.

Pain doesn’t have to meet a certain threshold to deserve care. If it impacted you, it’s worth paying attention to. And you deserve support as you make sense of it and learn how to move forward.

Healing isn’t reserved for the “worst” stories. It’s available to anyone who’s been affected.

Sometimes depression doesn’t look like sadness—it can look like exhaustion, irritability, low motivation, or feeling disconnected from yourself and others.
If you’ve been wondering, “Is this depression, or am I just overwhelmed?” this is a gentle place to start.

We created a short Depression Check-In Quiz to help you reflect on what you’ve been feeling and decide if it might be time to reach out for support. No pressure—just information and awareness.
