We are so grateful that some staff were able to attend the walk to end Alzheimer’s 2024 in Denver. It was such a nice day to bring recognition to those with Alzheimer’s, and their care givers and loved ones. Lakewood Villa is honored to be able to serve the population we do.

The 2024 Alzheimer’s Walk is coming up on September 21st. If you would like to donate to Lakewood Villa’s page in support, the link is below. Proceeds go towards the Alzheimer’s Association and the cause to fight to end Alzheimer’s and provide care to those in need. Today we had our monthly birthday party for all of the September resident birthdays! Our Activities Director, Valerie, was able to collaborate with Denver Hospice for the event. Denver Hospice was gracious enough to provide cake and ice cream for the residents and the staff to enjoy. We are so lucky to partner with them and have them provide excellent care and services to our residents!

Lakewood Villa is so excited to announce we have a senior prom night coming up! We are having this on 9/28 from 6pm-9pm. So many of our residents love music and dancing so we are excited to have this event for them. We encourage families and staff to come as well! 💃🕺

Some management team members (Sam-DOR, Ellen-BOM and Kendra-NHA) were able to attend an amazing marketing and connections opportunity at Balfour Senior Living yesterday. We were able to connect with local legislators that have taken an interest in healthcare in Colorado and we were able to meet some placement agencies for the elderly. Lakewood Villa is very happy to have had the opportunity.
