Emma is graduating from PT today! She came to me with a torn CCL, but was not able to go through the necessary surgery, so we put her in a custom knee brace. She has been working really hard on therapy for a little over a year and her Owner is very committed. She is back to her prior level and doesn’t even need the brace anymore! I’m not sure Boo can get her face any further in the frozen treat jar! Like a typical pug, she LOVES her snacks! Boo had surgery for a dislocating patella (knee cap). Congratulations Heimdallr for graduating from Physical Therapy! Heimdall came to us with some pretty severe cervical (neck) pain and would yelp out whenever he tried to move his neck or get up. After physical therapy and a lot of hard work by his owners, he is back to his spunky self!

Koral is working on improving her hind limb control after a neurologic event called an ANNPE (Acute Non-Compressive Nucleus Pulposus Extrusion). Kirstin is using the yellow theraband to help improve her left hind limb strength and motor control. I forgot to post Leo‘s birthday picture last month during his birthday. I’ve been seeing Leo to manage some arthritis from a past knee surgery. He does great and is still able to do all the fun things that he loves! He’s such a good boy.
