What a great day at the Mid-County Fall Senior Fair on Friday!

We had a wonderful turnout from seniors and community members in the Tacoma–Midland area. This annual event is one we always look forward to participating in — connecting, sharing resources, and celebrating our amazing senior community.

🔗What a Great Day at the Annual “Making the Link” Event!🔗

Advanced Health Care was proud to be part of this year’s Making the Link event, hosted by the Health Care Providers Council (HCPC). Our marketing director, Lynessa Stone, had a wonderful day connecting with other healthcare providers, social workers, and case managers from across the region.

We’re always honored to share resources and support patients and families who need trusted in-home care services.

✨ Recap from the Pierce County Falls Prevention Event at the Mel Korum YMCA!

Falls don't have to be a normal part of aging! Our Marketing Director represented Advanced Health Care and the Pierce County Falls Prevention Coalition this week, sharing resources on how to live well at home while staying safe and falls-free. 🏡🧡

Attendees enjoyed fall-prevention tips, exercise demonstrations, prizes, and even personalized fall-risk assessments from local PTs and OTs. Thank you to everyone who helped put this on for the attendees this year.

This past weekend, Advanced Health Care was proud to participate in the 2025 Pierce County Dementia Awareness Conference. 💜

🧠Over 150 attendees came together to learn more about dementia, caregiving, and the resources available in our community. It was a valuable day of education, support, and connection.

👏A huge thank you to all the vendors, sponsors, and speakers who shared their expertise and provided vital information to families and professionals caring for those with dementia. We are grateful to be part of such an impactful event again this year—working together to raise awareness and strengthen support for our community.

🌟 Yesterday we were honored to participate in the Living Well, Living Long Conference in Olympia— a day dedicated to seniors who want to live healthier, fuller lives!

Our Marketing Director, Lynessa, was on hand to share valuable resources about the importance of in-home care and how it supports seniors in maintaining independence and quality of life. 💙🏡

One of the highlights of the day was hearing from one of our own amazing clients — 102 years young! 🎉 He shared his inspiring tips on how he has lived well and lived long, reminding us all that aging is a journey to embrace.

Yesterday, our Marketing Director & Co-Owner, Lynessa Stone, joined the Pierce County Council meeting as part of the Pierce County Falls Prevention Coalition.

At the meeting, the Council officially proclaimed September 22, 2025, as Fall Prevention Awareness Day in Pierce County, WA. 🧡

The Falls Coalition saw an incredible turnout — possibly the largest yet for this proclamation reading — sending a powerful message: fall prevention matters and deserves visibility, awareness, and ongoing education.

At Advanced Health Care, this commitment is personal. Every day, our caregivers monitor seniors for fall risks and home hazards, because even one fall can change everything. Caring for our clients safety is one of the most important ways we can serve. 👏

✨ A big thank you to our volunteer speakers from the Washington State Alzheimer’s Association who joined us in our offices this week to present to our staff and caregivers on dementia-related behaviors!

We all truly enjoyed the presentation, especially the stories shared and the opportunity to exchange ideas with one another. It was a well-received session and a great reminder of how important ongoing education is in the work we do every day.

We are so grateful for community partners like the Alzheimer’s Association who help us continue learning so we can provide the very best care possible to our clients. 💜
