PASCO provides home and community-based ABA therapy. Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) is a form of scientific teaching that focuses its influence on socially significant behaviors and is based on the principles of learning and behavior. Through decades of research, the field of ABA has developed many techniques for increasing useful behaviors and reducing those that may cause harm or interfere with learning. The goal of ABA services is to use these techniques and principles to bring about meaningful and positive change in behavior. How is ABA Used? Home and community-based ABA services offered by PASCO are provided by Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) under the clinical supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and are tailored to meet the individual needs of the child or adult receiving services. Services can be provided wherever behavior change needs to occur, whether at home, school, daycare, jobsite, extracurricular activities, or elsewhere. PASCO's ABA services can be comprehensive and cover all developmental skill domains (listed below), or can be focused on a few particular developmental skill domains.
