We are in Monday through Thursday, so be sure to call our office prior to stopping in to verify that we are in seeing patients that day.

✨ Exciting News at Drangsholt Orthodontics! ✨

We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Tammy Nguyen, DDS, MSD to our orthodontic family as our newest associate!

Dr. Nguyen is a proud “triple Husky,” completing her undergraduate degree, dental degree (graduating at the top of her class!), and her orthodontic specialty training at the University of Washington. Her passion for orthodontics was inspired by her own experience as a patient and the confidence it gave her. She is dedicated to evidence-based care, individualized treatment plans, and creating a welcoming environment where every patient feels comfortable and confident.

As our practice continues to grow, bringing Dr. Nguyen onto our team allows us to expand our availability and continue delivering exceptional care to our community.

And just to clarify — Dr. Drangsholt is not retiring! He will continue treating patients as usual. Adding Dr. Nguyen simply strengthens our team and our commitment to serving Lakewood families for years to come.

Employee Highlight………..Meet Chloey, our newest team member! With 3 years of experience as a dental assistant, she's already making waves at Drangsholt Orthodontics. Chloey graduated from South Puget Sound Community College's dental assisting program. She loves learning new things and meeting new people. Employee Highlight…….. Meet Honeylene! Honeylene has been a dental assistant since January 2021 and joined Drangsholt Orthodontics in January 2024. When not helping create beautiful smiles, Honeylene loves spending time with her kids, enjoying a cup of coffee and seeking out delicious foods. She’s happiest soaking up the sunshine in the summer and making memories with her family. It is also Honeylene’s birthday month! Make sure to wish her a happy birthday! 🎈

Employee Highlight….. Meet Sara. Sara is a treatment coordinator here at Drangsholt Orthodontics and has been in the orthodontic field for 28 years.
Sara is married to her high school sweetheart and together they have 2 amazing kids, an energetic yellow lab, a cat and chickens.
When Sara is not helping guide you through the orthodontic process, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exploring the outdoors and watching the Oregon Ducks and Seahawks.
