Our Story
Welcome to Firehouse Yoga! It is our intention to offer the experience and joy of yoga to our community in an environment that fosters love, acceptance, and self-discovery.
A co-op of independent teachers managed by Nicole McLaughlin-Lublin, Firehouse Yoga offers multi-style classes in what was once an active engine house on Lakewood’s east side. The building now serves as the community center for the Rockport Square condos and in cooperation with Rockport HOA, we are blessed to be able to offer public classes in a variety of styles, where each teacher can bring their own unique presence and voice to the mat.
Class styles offered include Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative, and Kundalini. Many of our classes are taught in an all-level (or multi-level) style, in which options, modifications, and use of props are offered for both the beginner and the experienced practitioner. We also offer a Basics class for the brand new yogi or anyone looking to slow down and refine, as well as a Power Vinyasa option for those who specifically seek a more physically demanding practice.
Whether you are a seasoned yogi or new to the practice, we invite you to experience all that Firehouse Yoga has to offer. Please see our website for our schedule of weekly classes. All classes are $14 (unless otherwise noted), and students can book and pay online via credit card or drop-in at the studio.
Namaste.
