Wonderful event for our department to be a part of! Taking these opportunities to connect with our community and be a part of a greater mission is what drives us to continue to be better. Working closely with the Lakewood Public Library, H2O - Help To Others, Lakewood Police Department, and many others involved is always a pleasurable experience and speaks to the importance of collaboration between to the City of Lakewood, its stakeholders, and the residents! Looking forward to more of these events in the future!

On Saturday, March 15, the Lakewood Police Department will host an Open Skating event at Winterhurst Arena from 1 to 3 PM. The event is free to Lakewood residents, and skate rental is $3. We hope you can join us!

Come out to Winterhurst Ice Arena on Saturday, March 8 for the annual Fire & Ice Charity Hockey Game! the LFD will square off against the Lakewood Rangers Hockey team to support the Lakewood City Schools BRIDGES program.

The game begins at 5 pm following a free open skate from 3 to 5 PM. Game tickets are $5. Hope you can make it!

The Lakewood/Rocky River Rotary Club is hosting a Swim-A-Thon to support local organizations including the Lakewood Fire Department.

The event will take place at the Rocky River Rec Center on March 2 from 7:30 to 9:30 AM.
