For individuals with higher medical acuity, a Registered Nurse provides an added layer of guidance and oversight to ensure DSPs and families feel confident and supported.

This includes:
• An initial in-home nursing assessment
• Personalized care plan guidance
• Monthly reassessments
• Ongoing support for DSPs and families

Because thoughtful care isn’t just about showing up —
it’s about making sure the right knowledge, training, and support are in place from the start.

Some individuals have more complex medical or behavioral needs — and the right support can make all the difference.

Through our Acuity Needs Program, Kindly Direct Care provides additional professional guidance through Registered Nurses and BCBAs, helping ensure DSPs and families feel confident, prepared, and supported when caring for individuals with higher-acuity needs.

The goal of the program is to add an extra layer of professional oversight, training, and guidance so DSPs and families feel confident supporting individuals with more complex needs.
