This week I am celebrating passing the Marriage & Family Therapy national exam. I will soon add Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist to my current 2 licenses of Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Addiction Counselor. This has been a long and learning-filled journey.

It’s official. I am now a Marriage & Family Therapist Candidate AND earned the official Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) certification. I’ve been working on both for years and it was a long process! Now I just have to pass the national exam and I will also be a Licensed Marrisge & Family Therapist (LMFT). I’ve learned so much more about working with families and “systems” so this will guide me especially with the consultation work I hope to keep doing with companies to teach and support mental wellness between management and employees in the workplace. I’m so excited!
