During the recent winter blizzard, many team members stepped up to help keep our community safe. Members of our marketing team, Caroline Wall and Emily Sweeney, helped shovel, snapped a few snowy photos, and even made time for some snow angels along the way. It was a true team effort and a reminder that even during a storm, there is always room for a little joy!

Our residents headed out to Koi Hibachi, where flames on the grill brought some much-needed warmth after a chilly week. Lunch came with a show, and the food definitely lived up to it. It’s easy to see why this continues to be a favorite, with everyone leaving full and entertained!

Our Ladies Snowflake Tea Party was beautiful from beginning to end! The ladies of Harrogate arrived in their finest attire, dressed to impress. The room was styled with a soft winter touch, and upon entering, you could see the love and care put into every detail. Throughout the afternoon, harpist Connie Arcilla played softly in the background, bringing everything together.

Our talented residents, Sal Marino and Dick Handschuch, gave a presentation on their book "The Beach Bum’s Guide to the Boardwalks of New Jersey." They shared what inspired the book, along with stories and memories tied to the boardwalks they know and love. It was a fun look at New Jersey’s shoreline that had many of us picturing sunshine, ocean breezes, and the sound of waves just beyond the boards.

Held on the third Monday of every month at 2:00 PM in the Harrogate Auditorium, Senior Scoop is a monthly speaker series covering a variety of helpful, timely topics for seniors. Enjoy informative conversations, community connection, and light refreshments at each session.

This week, we gathered to celebrate our residents with birthdays in December, January, and February, and the afternoon quickly turned into a true celebration. With delicious cake and music that had everyone up and dancing, it was the kind of party that left everyone smiling! Happy Birthday to all!

Our New Year’s Eve celebration was a wonderful way to close out the year, surrounded by great company and even better memories. Seeing everyone come together made the night feel truly special. Thank you to everyone who donated to our toy and clothing drive in support of Providence House Domestic Violence Services of Catholic Charities this holiday season. Your kindness helped support families affected by domestic violence as they work toward safety and a fresh start. Every donation, big or small, meant something, and we’re truly grateful to everyone who stepped up to help.❤️🎁🙌

Sip & Paint gave a few of the ladies at Harrogate a chance to slow down and enjoy painting together. Everyone worked at their own pace, and it was nice to see how different each piece turned out. By the end, the table was filled with beautiful artwork, each one a little unique. 🎨🖌️🖼️

Last week, our residents were treated to a special holiday concert by the children’s chorus from Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish. Their beautiful voices and joyful energy truly captured the spirit of the season and brought so many smiles to our community. It’s always a wonderful reminder of how uplifting it is to have children here at Harrogate — they brighten our days and make the holidays even more special. 🎄🎶💙
