July is UV Safety month.
UV is a form of high-energy light that can cause sunburns. Sunlight reflected off sand or water can actually cause your eyes to sunburn.

Long term exposure to sunlight increase the risk of CATARACT formation and is complicit in progression of macular degeneration (a blinding disease). It is also responsible for various growths on the eye including cancer.

As you enjoy the summer weather, remember to protect your eyes with 100% UV blocking sunglasses.

Our Story

Family-owned optometry clinic. LOMA Eye Care was established in July 2017. We provide routine eye exams (including eyeglasses and contact lenses) as well as treat and manage eye disease. We have a huge selection of children’s frames as well as frames for adults. We aim to serve our community by offering the highest quality service as well as the lowest prices on eyewear . . . guaranteed!

What really sets up apart from the rest of the pack is the compassion we have for treating patients. We don't claim to be perfect, because we are still too new and we have a lot of wrinkles to iron out, but we are honest and we truly care. We see people from 6 months of age on, and we are happy to take care of your entire family. Hablamos español. We accept most insurance plans including MEDICAID. PLEASE NOTE: Our clinic is brand new. As such, we will be working at outside locations to earn income until the clinic can sustain itself. Until such time, we are operating by appointment only (same-day appointments are available). We strongly recommend calling our office before coming in to ensure we don’t miss you (720-476-7971).
