Ahh the joys of PMS. Probably one of the most common complaints of my patients, I’ve recently seen an uptick in the severity and frequency of symptoms. Maybe the change of seasons?
👉Irritability, mood swings, sadness, swelling/bloating, headaches, sleep disturbance, GI changes…the list goes on.
While these are all common symptoms, I don’t believe (and you shouldn’t either!) that we have to just “live with it” and that it’s “normal”. We do have to smartly schedule activities and move with our cycles as people with uteruses, BUT effecting quality of life is NOT Ok in my book.
In addition to many lifestyle, nutritional and supplemental therapies I use, this tea helps with the moods, the swelling, and brings a sense of calm, and in itself is some self care-which is my #1 recommendation leading up to your bleed.
What do you struggle with the most and what have you found helpful???
