Whether you are brand new to yoga or looking to refine your practice, this four class series is designed to bring everyone back to basics. Over these 2hr classes, we’ll explore foundational yoga poses, breathing techniques, and mindfulness practices that build strength, balance, and flexibility. Each class introduces essential postures with clear alignment cues, modifications, and options for all levels, creating a supportive environment to deepen body awareness and confidence on the mat.
From grounding techniques to gentle flows to beginner-friendly inversions and twists, this series offers a comprehensive journey through the essentials of yoga. Join us to rediscover the fundamentals, cultivate relaxation, and develop skills that can be applied both on and off the mat. Perfect for those beginning their practice, as well as seasoned yogis seeking a mindful return to the foundations of yoga. Hands on assists and a dedicated Q&A session in each class will be offered for a personalized experience.
Sample Schedule of a Class:
Introductions and breath (pranayama): 15 minutes
Lecture: 25 minutes
Poses (asana): 60 minutes
Conscious rest (savasana): 10 minutes
Q and A: 10 minutes
