🌿 Life is intense.
To those pushing themselves to the limits—mentally, physically, emotionally—I see you.
Whether it's the demanding job, caring for loved ones, politics, making ends meet, or holding down the home, your effort matters. You're not invisible, even when it feels like it.
I recently asked friends:
“What do you do for your mental health outside of drinking or smoking?”
Here’s what came up:
✨ Moving your body – working out, dancing, sweating it out
✨ Family & Community – talking, laughing, hugging it out
✨ Time in Nature – grounding, walking, breathing fresh air
✨ Creative Outlets – music, journaling, art
✨ Self-Care – massage, chiropractic, acupuncture, breathwork
It’s hard to carve out time for yourself. But when you do, you give yourself the chance to show up as the best version of you.
When I was in my final year of undergrad—studying for the MCATs, overloaded on coursework, working in a chemistry lab, chain-smoking, living off caffeine and vending machines—I hit a wall.
I was burnt out, anxious, irritable, and depressed.
My emotions were everywhere but in harmony.
I didn’t realize it then, but my nervous system was constantly in fight-or-flight.
Finding a form of self-care that helped regulate my nervous system changed my life.
I finally returned home to myself.
And it wasn’t just my mental health that improved—my digestion, sleep, hormones, even my focus and energy came back online.
Acupuncture helps your mental health by supporting your nervous system. It calms the overdrive and lets your body and mind repair.
You don’t have to hustle your way to happiness.
Sometimes, slowing down is the most productive thing you can do.
I love to serve and one of the best feelings is when I hear my patients take that sigh of relief. I'm reminded of that feeling of returning home.
If you are needing a moment of relief, let's get you on the schedule.
