Notable Staff The chapel’s roster of staff includes veteran Ocean County residents who are respected community members. Current funeral home owner Martin Goldstein initially partnered with Howard as director and later assumed full leadership of the chapel. Born in Lakewood and residing here for many years, Martin’s roots are set deep in Ocean County. Director Nesanel Rabenstein, fondly known as “Nate,” has been associated with the chapel since 1997. Nate has earned a reputation of patience and compassion as he meets with families, at their homes or at the chapel, to explore funeral options for loved ones.
