Back-to-school Season is here!

Join us at MMC's LiveWell Center in Eatontown on Tuesday, August 26th from 6-7 p.m. for an informative evening aimed at preparing students with Celiac Disease to go back-to-school safely. Speakers include Ashwin Agrawal, DO, MBA, FAAP, Pediatric Gastroenterologist and Medical Director for the Pediatric Celiac Disease Center at RWJBarnabas Health, Katelyn Guli, MS, RD, CSP, Pediatric Registered Dietitian, Lisa Ball O’Brien, LSW, CDCES, Social Worker, and Tamara Quezada, Psy.D., Pediatric Psychologist. In-person participants will have the opportunity to join the LiveWell Center’s registered dietitian, Jennifer Klein, MS, RDN, in the demonstration kitchen for a hands-on cooking segment.

So proud of our entire Emergency Department team who received the Lantern Award from the ENA (Emergency Nurses Association) for demonstrating exceptional and innovative performance in leadership, practice, education, advocacy, and research. Our hospital is one of only 96 in the country! Great job team and congratulations to our sister hospital Monmouth Medical Center who received the award for the second time!

MMCSC's Pulmonary Rehabilitation Department celebrated the birthday of three patients named George. Two of the Georges were born on the same day and are both celebrating 80 years young.
