My friend, Sonda DePalozza shared this image and I asked her where this information came from. This is her answer:
A company called Clarivate calculates the impact factor of medical journals. It is a ratio between citations and recent citable items published. The impact factor of a particular product is calculated by the some total of all the journals impact scores in which research on Juice Plus has been published. In essence, it is quality and quantity, due to the fact that we have nearly 50 research studies published in the most prestigious journals which are noted to have the most citations and highest impact scores. Librarians and research scientist have been evaluating journals for nearly 100 years. The analytics company that compiles these is able to compile computer generated statistical reports not only on the output of journals, but also on the frequency of citations.
The credibility of the Juice Plus studies is off the charts.
Real research is traceable and verified. Remember that next time ABC Supplements says they have research or some accreditation or award no other supplement has.
