NEIGHBOR SPOTLIGHT

Just a five minute ride from us is which might just be one of the coolest places around!

The place isn’t just a farm you can visit, it “offers people of all ages, backgrounds, and interests the chance to learn about their rural history and heritage by rolling up their sleeves for hands-on activities, meeting interpreters in historic costume, and embarking on tours through a farm that’s really working year-round.”

The place has an active calendar (which you should definitely check out) and a corn maze that you can’t miss!

More about the farm from their site:

“The premises are beautiful, the service is exceptional and the breakfast both days was delicious. You can feel the thought that is placed in all of the details to make a guest feel special. It has just the right amount of modern upgrades necessary, but it still feels historical and serene.
Howell Farm’s calendar reflects the cycles of a fully functioning, working farm in Pleasant Valley, New Jersey during the years 1890 – 1910. Programs enable visitors to see real farming operations up close, speak with farmers and interpreters, and in many instances lend a hand. Factors such as weather, soil conditions and animal needs can impact operations at any time, resulting in program changes that reflect the realities faced by farmers then and now.”
