This program is for those in or approaching perimenopause, menopause, or postmenopause, as well as for those looking to support menopausal women in their lives.

Let me start by saying that I am 51 years old... and I'm in perimenopause.

I primarily coach adult women, many of whom will experience various stages of menopause during our time together.

All individuals with functioning ovaries will eventually go through menopause, and its symptoms can affect women for several years, sometimes even decades. For instance, some women may start noticing perimenopause symptoms in their late thirties, while others may deal with postmenopause symptoms into their sixties.

Menopause can influence virtually every aspect of a woman's life, from hormonal changes to emotional well-being, leading to symptoms such as hot flashes, weight gain and changes to body fat distribution, mood swings, fatigue and lack of energy, brain fog, digestive issues, vaginal dryness and discomfort, a greater risk of injury or difficulty, trouble sleeping.... and so much more!

Plus, many women find that the techniques they used earlier in life to manage their weight and improve their health no longer work as expected. Strategies like β€œjust workout more” or strict dieting may now be more harmful than helpful.

Furthermore, many women face significant life transitions during this period, like children leaving home or changing relationships.

Despite the challenges, menopause is often overlooked in women's health coaching. Many women are now rejecting the notion of suffering in silence and are choosing to view menopause as new chapter filled with potential. They seek informed support, which is what I aim to provide as a dedicated Certified Menopause Coaching Specialist.

Most people need strategies that are realistic, simple, and fit with their everyday lives as β€œimperfect” human beings. So, at Moxie Coaching, we do not believe in creating a bunch of strict rules. Each of us needs to find something that works for us, but that thing needs to be sustainable for a lifetime Nothing that is worth achieving in life comes easy or quick, so if you want a quick fix... this isn't the program for you.

β€’ You're looking to build sustainable fitness, nutrition, and lifestyle habits that can be your foundation for taking control of your fitness year-round. We are going to build a solid foundation by focusing on the practical everyday fitness, nutrition and lifestyle strategies, mindset skills and mental health boosting habits to improve your experience, outlook, resilience, and overall health and wellness.- skills that, if learned and practiced consistently are almost always enough for optimal fitness, health, body composition, performance, and life balance.

β€’ You are ready, willing and able to take action. You can't hire someone to do your push ups for you. It’s not enough to just read / follow along with the daily lessons. To truly benefit from the program, you must take action and practice the principles on a daily basis. Consistent follow-through is what gets results. The program works if you work it.​

β€’ You are willing to prioritize your health. You must fill your own cup before you can pour into others. We get it, life gets busy, but if you aren't willing to prioritize your health, this isn't the program for you.

β€’ You're ready to show up for yourself. This isn’t for people who aren’t ready to deal with their reasons, excuses, obstacles or whatever is standing in the way or stopping them from getting what they want. If you're constantly making excuses, missing check-ins, or unwilling to do the hard inner and outer work, this isn't the program for you.

β€’ You are ready to take ownership and level up. If you have a fixed mentality or victim mindset (i.e., you tend to complain, blame others, resist feedback and aren't open to growth) this isn't the program for you.

β€’ You are willing to slow down and focus on building consistency. Attempting advanced strategies (i.e. over-the-top fitness challenges, caloric restriction, very low-carb diets, fasting, super strict elimination diets, etc) or searching for that "magic pill" (or shot) / supplement before mastering the basics is like "mowing the lawn while the house is on fire." If you are someone who believes that if you're diet isn't extreme, it doesn't feel like it's enough, this isn't the program for you.

β€’ You have a "beginner's mind". This means that no matter what you already know or how much experience you have, you can stay receptive and "show up" with an open mind, treating each idea as fresh. You can let yourself struggle and make mistakes as you experiment and learn. One of the main lessons is this: Eating better and exercising (etc) isn't about what you know. And it's not about what you do occasionally. Real results come when you find strategies for repeating certain actions / behaviors consistently and reliably. ​​

I'm 51 years old. My perimenopause symptoms started in 2024, not long before my 50th birthday. I started experiencing hot flashes + night sweats, sleep difficulties, mood swings, headaches + occular migraines, back + joint pain + stiffness, difficulty concentrating, heart palpitations, urinary incontinence, weight gain (even with 4-6 training sessions / week + tracking my food).....

My body was changing shape + size. Skin, digestion, hair, mood, sleep – it seemed like everything was changing. Like many other women during this stage of life, I found that old ways of doing things no longer work(ed).

Since I started focusing on making some specific lifestyle changes, I not only feel much better but I'm also better prepared to make the dietary + exercise changes that have brought me closer to my fitness + wellness goals.

Let's be clear: Lifestyle habits are crucial. While I’m not implying that everything will be ideal with the β€œright” diet or exercise routine, lifestyle factors can generally enhance (or hinder) a woman’s menopause experience. You CAN stack the deck in your favor + make the transition smoother for yourself.

Fortunately, I can assist you in adopting specific practices + practical lifestyle strategies, mindset skills + mental health habits that can enhance your sleep, reduce stress + strengthen your self-care habitsβ€”all of which can significantly enhance your experience, outlook, resilience + overall well-being + improve your physical and mental health.

The principles, practices + habit development system outlined in the Moxie Fall Reset are based on proven techniques and strategies and are the result of DECADES of learning and research + of course my own personal findings through experience, trial + error, self-examination + self-experimentation.
