Medical Arts Hospital is seeking an experienced Director of Information Technology to lead our IT strategy, support clinical excellence, and drive digital transformation across the organization.
In this leadership role, you’ll:
✨Lead the planning, implementation, and maintenance of hospital IT systems, including EHR/EMR, clinical applications, infrastructure, and cybersecurity
✨Develop and execute IT strategy aligned with organizational goals and healthcare regulations (HIPAA, HITECH, CMS, etc.)
✨Oversee system availability, performance, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
✨Manage IT budgets, vendor contracts, and technology procurement
✨Collaborate with clinical leadership to optimize workflows and technology adoption
✨Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance across all systems
✨Lead, mentor, and evaluate IT staff and vendors
✨Support system upgrades, integrations, and digital transformation initiatives
✨Monitor emerging healthcare technologies and recommend improvements
What We’re Looking For:
✔ Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or related field
✔ 7+ years of progressive IT experience (and leadership in healthcare environment)
✔ Strong knowledge of hospital information systems, EHR/EMR, & clinical workflows
✔ Experience in cybersecurity, networks, and cloud-based solutions
✔ Excellent communication and stakeholder skills
Preferred: Master’s degree, CHCIO, PMP, ITIL, CISSP, or similar certifications, familiarity with data analytics and interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR)
