The Lamoni Trails Commission is looking to fill a couple of openings. Do you love the Lamoni Recreational Trail? Are you passionate about it's continued upkeep and expansion? Do you want to be a part of the Lamoni Trails Commission to help keep the Trail a continued asset to Lamoni? If so, please fill out the attached form:

If you are interested in joining the Lamoni Trails Commission, please provide your information below. The Trails Commission consists of 5 members with staggered 3 year terms. The Commission meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month.

Did you know each of the Trail kiosks have bag holders with grocery bags? These are here for Trail users to help keep the Trail clean. Even though our Trail is pretty clean, sometimes trash finds its way into the Trail. Feel free to grab a bag on your next walk, run, or bike ride and pick up any trash you may find! Together, we can keep our Trail beautiful!

Lamoni is celebrating National Walk & Bike to School Day! 🚶‍♀️🚲

We encourage all students and families to join us for a fun, healthy, and community-centered event on Wednesday, October 8!

Here's how we're celebrating with a Walking School Bus:
- Regular school buses will drop students off at the trail entrance on the corner of 7th Street and North Clark.

- From there, students will walk the trail to school together.

Our staff will be stationed at the drop-off and along the trail to supervise and support all students.

This is a wonderful opportunity to promote physical activity, community spirit, and a positive start to the day. We can't wait to see our students participating!
