The West portion of the Trail is back open after trimming! Thank you to TNT Builders for getting it cut back and Public Works for sweeping off the debris after so it could be reopened to the public!

The West portion of the Trail (starting at N. Elm by the School) is closed for trimming! Please keep in mind that the barriers placed across the trail are there to keep everyone safe while trimming takes place. DO NOT go around the barriers. Your patience is appreciated, we know you'll be happy with the Trail when trimming is done.

The next few days are shaping up to be beautiful out! Make sure to spend some of that time soaking up the sun on Lamoni Recreational Trail! While you're on the Trail, check out "The Hugging Tree" in the Northwestern corner of the trail! It was brought to our attention by avid trail user, Lori Long, that the tree (multiple mulberry's growing together) appears to be embracing one another. Take your own picture by "The Hugging Tree" and share in the comments!
