Our patients are from all walks of life. We have patients that have been with us forever, and we have new patients referred to us.

Favorite hobbies/activities?
Hiking, camping, biking, and cooking for my family especially during holiday season!

Favorite animal?
Easily cats, but I don’t consider myself a “crazy cat lady.”

About us...

We are a Lancaster based Ophthalmology practice with an amazing, solo medical doctor. We have a fantastic and friendly staff, and are seeking an Ophthalmic/Optometric Technician to join our team.

This position consists of, but is not limited to....

Utilizing a state of the art electronic health records system to document patient's medical, surgical, and ocular history. Documenting patient vision, current glass prescription, performing diagnostic tests, assisting with in office procedures.

About you...:

Excellent interpersonal skills, customer service, organization ability, time management and the ability to effectively prioritize work.

Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail and documentation

Proficiency with computer use, especially an electronic medical record

Knowledge of medical terminology, particularly related to ophthalmology

Ability to elicit and document medical history

Prior Ophthalmic or Optometric experience and prior experience in a medical office preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.

COA certification preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: Up to $21.00 per hour
