Meet Maddy, our newest injector at James Street MedSpa ✨

Maddy has been a Registered Nurse for eight years and is currently earning her Nurse Practitioner degree at Wilkes University. She brings strong clinical experience, steady hands, and a patient-first approach to every treatment — exactly the kind of provider we want caring for our clients.

She and her husband, Brandon, have been married for five years (and yes… they did meet while working at the county jail — top-tier fun fact). At home, she’s busy with their two children, Kimber (4) and Caelum (3), and their two pittie mixes, Titus and Caliope.

Outside of the treatment room, Maddy loves to read, listen to audiobooks, bake, crochet, and make space for her own self-care.

We’re excited to welcome her to the James Street team — and we can’t wait for you to meet her. ✨

✨ Important things to know before booking your appointments at James Street MedSpa ✨

Order matters — and it’s not just for organization’s sake! The way we schedule your treatments is designed to protect the safety, integrity, and health of your skin (and ensure the best possible results).

Here are a few key things to keep in mind when booking:

Massages are typically booked before facials — they’re only scheduled after if the day’s availability doesn’t allow for the preferred order. This is mostly a comfort thing — we’d rather your freshly glowing skin not rest in a cradle right after your facial!

Most facials can be combined with laser or dermaplaning, and we’ll help you determine the best sequence for your skin type and goals.

Facials should always come before injectables, not after.

Facials cannot be performed for 10–14 days after injectables to ensure there’s no migration as the product settles.

Spray tans should be booked after facials and massages, and your skin must be completely clean beforehand.

Some treatments may need time between them — for example, peels, microneedling, or laser services.

You can absolutely book online — our team reviews every appointment to make sure your services are in the right order. If anything needs adjusting, we’ll reach out before your visit.

Sometimes technology doesn’t know what your skin needs… but we do. 💛

This course is the first of what we hope will be many collaborations between The Institute of Medical Aesthetics (IOMA) and Circadia University — created to help future professionals and community members understand what it truly takes to enter the aesthetics industry the right way.

We poured our hearts into this project, blending science, experience, and passion to create an honest and educational introduction to the world of medical aesthetics.

We are endlessly grateful to our partners at Circadia for sharing our vision and belief in the power of proper education, to Paul and Laura Heslop from Creative Juicey for their hospitality, creativity, and direction, and to our friends and families who always cheer us on when we dream big.
