Each pup got a little extra love with bandanas and Hawaiian leis donated by Pawprints of Prince Co. – Legacy of Love 🌺—helping them feel seen, celebrated, and photo-ready for adoption.

This certification is more than a title.
It’s a reflection of the path I’ve walked — both professionally and personally — through grief, caregiving, and healing.

I’m now a Certified Grief and Pet Loss Coach, and this moment is layered with deep purpose.

💛 My journey in healthcare, especially hospice and palliative care, taught me how sacred the end of life truly is.
🧠 My work in mental health case management showed me how invisible grief often lingers — tucked behind survival, silence, and strength.
🐾 And the loss of my beloved Prince, my fur companion, cracked my heart wide open.

He wasn’t “just a pet.” He was comfort. He was presence. He was a soul connection I’ll always carry.
Losing him wasn’t just an ending — it was a spiritual shift that deepened my calling to support others through loss.

This certification is my way of saying:
I’m here for it all.

The quiet grief.
The hard-to-explain pain.
The sacred transitions — whether it’s a loved one, a fur companion, or a version of yourself you’ve had to let go.

I hold space with strength, softness, and spirit.

This is soul work.
This is healing.
This is what I’m built for.
