Did you know? The CDC recommends that everyone be vaccinated by the end of October. The flu vaccine is recommended for patients who are at higher risk of serious complications and hospitalization from the flu, including pregnant patients. ACOG recommends that all individuals six months and older receive a flu shot every year. Vasomotor and vaginal dryness are common symptoms of menopause.
If you have a sudden sensation of heat in the upper body particularly the face, neck and chest it is referred to as a hot flash. It typically will last 1-5 min and can be characterized by chills, clamminess, anxiety and heart palpitations.
