🚨March Athlete of the Month: Hunter Boal🚨

Hunter is the kind of athlete every community needs. He shows up consistently, puts in the work every single day, and never cuts corners when it comes to effort.

During workouts, he gives everything he has. He listens, applies coaching, and continues to improve👊🏻

What really stands out is his attitude… No matter the workout, no matter the day, Hunter walks through our doors ready to work and ready to be part of something bigger than himself.

About Hunter:

Hometown: York Springs, PA

What inspired your to start CF?

My brother and my dad both did it for years and I needed an exercise outlet towards the end of the pandemic. I was instantly hooked on the constant variation and opened my eyes to so much more than lifting weights.

What hobbies do you have outside the gym?

I love playing golf and really doing anything outdoors. I enjoy cooking for my fiancé, Alexis, so we can watch tv shows or movies together while we eat.

My favorite movements:
Olympic lifts for testing strength, mobility and technique. Muscle ups are always a fun time as well!

My least favorite movement: handstand pushups.

What is something you have learned in the past year?

In CrossFit, I’ve really learned to listen to my body. I’d always push myself 100% on everything no matter what and now I know that some days I have to scale it back and just move. It’s ok if you’re not feeling 100% and you need to adjust accordingly.

One movement I’ve recently learned is butterfly pull ups.

Fun fact?

My dog’s name is Gator based on Will Ferrell’s alter ego in The Other Guys.
