🎡😂 What a “quiet and relaxing” day at the County Fair… if you call eating everything deep-fried, screaming on rides, and trying to pet every animal “relaxing.” Our residents and staff had an absolute blast — from funnel cakes to carousel spins, it was smiles, laughter, and maybe just a little too much cotton candy! 🍿🐮🎠💥

🎉🏈 O-H! … I-O! 🏈🎉

Here at Buckeye Care & Rehab, we know how to kick off football season in style! The day before the big Ohio State vs. Texas season opener, our staff and residents threw the ultimate TAILGATE PARTY — Buckeye-style! 🌮🎶❤️

From tacos and tunes to family, friends, non-alcohic beer and plenty of fun, our community was full of scarlet & gray spirit. Whether cheering loud or just enjoying the good vibes, we’re all ready for another exciting Buckeye season!

🎆✨ Our residents at Buckeye Care and Rehabilitation had a fantastic time enjoying a beautiful fireworks show over the holiday weekend!

A big thank you to the Eagles for putting on such a wonderful display — it truly lit up the night and brought so many smiles.

And a very special thank you to Sherri for coming in and making this memorable event possible. Your dedication and heart make all the difference! ❤️💙

🎆🇺🇸 Happy 4th of July from Buckeye Care and Rehab! 🇺🇸🎆

When it’s too hot for a cookout, we bring the fun inside with a “cook-in!” Our residents enjoyed delicious food, festive decorations, and plenty of red, white, and blue spirit — all in the cool comfort of the indoors.

The highlight? Pulled pork sandwiches courtesy of our talented chef Kevin — a true crowd favorite!

There’s nothing better than celebrating independence, good food, and great company together. ❤️🤍💙

Who says occupational therapy can’t be sweet? 🍓🥧 Today, Leslie teamed up with Kathleen in OT to whip up a delicious rhubarb pie!

Occupational therapy focuses on building independence through the activities of daily living—so we thought, why not make it fun (and tasty)? It’s not just about therapy, it’s about joy, purpose, and doing things that feel like you.

And let’s be honest… nothing says “successful session” like the smell of fresh-baked pie! 💪❤️

☀️ Nothing beats a beautiful day filled with sunshine, good music, and the smell of the grill! Today we kicked off the first day of National Nursing Assistants Week with an outdoor cookout! 🎶🌭🍉

We couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate the incredible STNA’s who bring comfort, care, and compassion to our residents every single day, than to host this outdoor event and include the residents they care for throughout the year. 💙👏

This month, we celebrate the vital work of Speech-Language Pathologists — and we’re lucky to have an outstanding team right here!

A special shoutout to Sue, our incredible Speech-Language Pathologist and Director of the Rehab Department, who has been a cornerstone of our team for over 25 years. Her dedication, leadership, and compassion have touched countless lives.

We’re also so grateful for Rachel, Ashley, and Lauren, who bring their talent and heart to support our speech therapy services. Together, this amazing team helps patients find their voice, improve their communication, and regain confidence every day.

It was an honor to grill a delicious meal in your honor. Thank you for all that you do! 💬❤️

🎉 What a week it’s been! We’ve enjoyed celebrating National Nursing Home Week with nonstop fun, delicious food, and exciting events — and we couldn’t have asked for a better way to wrap it all up! 💃🍔🎨

We ended the week on a high note with a beautiful afternoon outdoors, soaking up the sunshine and cooling off with Kona Ice! ☀️🍧 The smiles were as bright as the weather, and the joy was contagious.
